Who We Are

trans·form (tr ns-fôrm )

1. To change markedly the appearance or form of. 2. To change the nature, function, or condition of; convert. 3. To undergo a transformation.

Our goal at NorthWood is to glorify God through transformation. As we establish a relationship with Jesus Christ, God begins a process within us causing transformation in our lives, in our communities, and throughout the world. At NorthWood we call this T-Life (transformed life).

Interactive Relationship with God

Transformation is a result of a constant, growing, interactive relationship with God. God desires to change us so that we begin to walk like, talk like, and act like Jesus. One of the ways we interact with God is through corporate and personal worship, putting Him at the center of our lives.

Transparent Connections

God didn't design us to be islands. That's why nearly every day of the week you will find groups or teams of people from NorthWood meeting together developing authentic and transparent connections with one another. We encourage, challenge, and support each other as a living community.

Glocal Impact

Transformation in our personal lives should always result in a glocal (local and global) impact as we serve others. NorthWood is not about a Sunday “show.” We are the Church on Monday through Friday as we live in a world that desperately needs transforming. We believe actions speak louder than words when it comes to sharing God's love. That's why we are committed not only to meeting the needs of Northeast Tarrant County, but also to meeting needs around the world. To learn more about NorthWood's glocal outreach, check out the glocal section of our site.

Is NorthWood right for you?
