Celebrate Recovery

Overview

Celebrate Recovery is a participant driven ministry of NorthWood Church. It is a recovery program based upon the actual words of Jesus Christ, in a format that utilizes twelve steps and eight principles, feeding the soul in addition to the individual’s behavioral and emotional health needs.

It is the church dedicating itself to providing an avenue of healing through God’s truths as written in scripture to individuals who are dealing with hurts, habits, and hang-ups in both the church and community. The word best used to describe this is transformation.

Celebrate Recovery is:

  • Based upon God’s word, the Bible
  • Forward looking
  • Focused upon personal responsibility
  • Aimed at total recovery, with a spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Targeted to all types of behavioral and chemical addictions
  • Not based on age, gender, race, or religious background
  • Based upon 12 Steps with a biblical comparison and 8 Principles
