Last summer Northwood and GVI sent a team of excited college students and young adults to begin a new partnership with  Trung Chai Middle School - a school for poor villagers in the Sapa district.  Students typically walk 2-3 hours from their villages to get to school.  Trung Chai  Middle School is located on the main road leading into downtown Sapa - which is quite busy and dangerous for children at play outside. As a college-age student and young adult you will continue in this relationship by raising funds early this year to help build a gate outside the school. Then in July you will arrive in Sapa to actually build the fence ensuring the safety of the children! God is at work and He is inviting you to be His hands and feet to love and serve the teachers and students of this poor middle school.
