God has planted a seed inside each one of us. We have the hidden potential to know and follow Him in unfathomable ways--to experience life to its fullest! Have you nurtured that seed, seen it sprout into a rich spiritual experience, and enjoyed its fruits--or have you left it unsown, waiting to be cultivated?

The stages of a plant’s maturity are much like the Christian life. Like a seed that must be put into the ground, our true faith journey won’t begin until we are ready to “die” to our own ambitions and plans.

Once we are planted and begin to grow, we need help from people who can support and guide us. The community of believers around us provides strength and nourishment to our souls. It shelters us from the winds of change, the bitter cold of disappointment, and the heat of anger and unforgiveness as we go from season to season in our lives.

Then when we come to maturity, we are able to sow seeds in others and see a multiplied harvest. We’re able to use what God has done in and through us to bless others of the next generation.
